GCP DevOps Engineer

Gurgaon / Noida / Pune / Hyderabad

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer, he will gather requirements for automation opportunities; develop and manage CI/CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible
As a Cloud Administrator, he will be managing all the GCP resources for multiple teams who are working on GCP cloud environment.
Actively engage in CI/CD, Agile and DevOps process, participate regularly in planning and release
Work with the product owners to understand the build and release cycles and the deployment requirements.
Understanding the release cycles and releases processes and automating the releases by using CD tools
Taking corrective action to fix issues with the infrastructure or application deployments
Coordinating with development, testing and support teams

Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience primarily in DevOps, Cloud & Containerization.
2-3 years of Linux systems administrator experience or equivalent skills
2-3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools e.g. Jenkins/ Bamboo/Teamcity is necessary.
Hands on Experience implementing Full lifecycle DevOps automation including Configuration management, Build Automation, Release management, Deployment automation and Infrastructure management
Strong knowledge of cloud environments like GCP.
Strong knowledge of GCP resource administration and resource monitoring (IAM, Cloud Operations Suite, handling all the principals including members and service accounts)
Experience implementing DevOps & GCP (Cloud Repositories, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Operations Suite)
Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools, CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins/Cloud Build/ GitLab CICD/ GitHub Actions).
Strong knowledge on infrastructure-as-a-code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).
Strong knowledge on IaaS and PaaS services category of GCP (GCE, GKE, GAE, VPC)
Strong knowledge on GCP security and networking
