About the Role

Voltus is hiring an energetic Market Operations Intern who possesses the drive and critical thinking to make us more efficient in executing our promises to both our internal and external customers. You take pride in finding new ways to do something better in less time. You love getting into the weeds and figuring out all the intricacy and nuance, then distilling it into a simple, actionable format so others don’t have to follow in your footsteps. You have a relentless attention to detail, are a master project manager, and are intellectually curious about energy markets and demand-side resources. You are bright, gritty, and good and want to work with others like you.

Voltus is a remote and virtual company, distributed across the US, Canada, and abroad with many team members in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, DC and other cities.

Key Responsibilities

Run and develop processes for residential enrollments with an eye for accuracy at scale.

Improve operational efficiency through tooling and automation, integrating with other teams to ensure data is reported accurately.

Assist in requesting and submitting energy usage data; optimizing and automating the process.

Complete other project-based or operational work that helps us identify new opportunities, automates business processes, and protects us from losing revenue.

Qualifications

Self-starter with the ability to identify and appropriately prioritize our most pressing needs
