This position is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

Primary purpose:  

Supports and implements program requirements. Gathers, interprets, and analyzes information and data; develops actionable steps to ensure programs and processes meet established goals. Collaborates with partners and clients (such as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services [CMS] and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC]) as well as team members to coordinate, plan, and implement healthcare-quality programs. Thoroughly comprehends the program’s goals and manages program scope.


A successful candidate will do the following:

  • Manage a plan to implement project work; administer the project in accordance with its stated goals and objectives in the Statement of Work, Schedule of Deliverables, and other materials 
  • Create project deliverables such as correspondence, reports, manuals, publications, and educational content for industry engagement 
  • Communicate directly and lead project meetings with clients, management, and staff across teams 
  • Respond to escalated inquiries; work with clients and customers to find solutions to issues
  • Research industry trends (for example, through federal rules, listening sessions, conferences, and industry mailings) and incorporate them into projects when applicable
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide solutions
  • Articulate risks and manage them by providing potential mitigations and recommendations to team members and leadership 
  • Log issues and coordinate with team members to resolve them within defined timelines 
  • Develop a trusted-advisor relationship with internal and external team members
  • Identify potential for future work such as expansion of project scope or additional business opportunities 
  • Perform duties as a subject-matter expert and/or point of contact for an entire project or program 
  • Direct and lead other analysts; demonstrate tasks and skills and direct them to training and other useful materials
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in health informatics, computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
  • Twelve (12) years or more of experience in a project setting
  • Knowledge of the Quality-of-Care programs, specifically CMS Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and awareness of third-party intermediary participation in that program 
  • Knowledge of User-Acceptance or Quality-Assurance testing 
  • Experience with customer service and coordinating inbox response 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent work experience in health informatics, computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
  • Ten (10) years experience within public health or healthcare industry 
  • Three (3) years or more of experience in leadership or management role

Salary Description
$105,000 - $125,000
