Position Title: Senior IT Analyst

 

This position reports to the IT Sr Manager – Collaboration.

 

Preferred Location: Remote – US 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Provide day to day administration of existing SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams workspaces including permissions and access management, site configuration, list/library/page creation, issue resolution, and end user support. 
  • Provide excellent customer service to business partners and end users and build a deep knowledge of core business functions.   
  • Create and maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems including detailed systems documentation, release notes, user instructions, and procedures 
  • Stay current with Microsoft365 and third-party roadmaps, new technology releases, changes, and updates with attention to their effects in our environment. 
  • Work with the help desk and IT teammates to support IT tasks within the onboarding/offboarding process including account management and hardware inventory and retrieval. 
  • Work with the IT Service Delivery Manager and provide endpoint support to all company devices (laptops, iOS devices) including software distribution, security maintenance, patch management, and daily monitoring to ensure availability and integrity of resources.  
  • Administer the managed file transfers (MFT) platform by working with stakeholders and IT teammates to design data exchange processes, troubleshoot transfer issues, and provide end user support. 
  • Support the Zoom platform and Zoom usage (meetings, calls, SMS) on all devices by providing end user support, staying currently on Zoom changes and releases, and daily monitoring.  
  • Support the planning, deploying, executing, and managing of all Microsoft services and the Microsoft365 tenant, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. 
  • Work with IT teammates to ensure email security by monitoring and analyzing email traffic for potential threats, investigating and responding to incidents, and implementing and managing email security policies.  
  • Provide Level 2 support to end users by troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware and software issues, identifying workarounds and improvements.  You will interface directly with the Level 1 help desk and escalate to Level 3 support when appropriate.  
  • Conduct research, testing, documentation, and implementation of new technical solutions or enhancements.  
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed to resolve issues.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience made up of: 
    1. Supporting Office365
    2. Supporting Microsoft technologies.
    3. Supporting endpoints (Laptops/Desktops)
  • Associates degree or Industry certifications required
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
  • Knowledge of technology trends, with attention to collaboration tools and Microsoft services.  
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the following are required:
    1. Azure AD and identity and access management within O365
    2. Desktop patching
    3. Exchange Online
    4. Microsoft Teams
    5. OneDrive for Business
    6. SharePoint Online
  • Knowledge and experience in the following are a plus:
    1. Microsoft Power Platform (Flow, PowerApps, Power Automate)
    2. PowerShell
  • Skill in the following areas:
    1. IT change management lifecycle
    2. Technical documentation
  • Ability to: 
    1. Analyze, identify, and solve technical problems
    2. Establish and maintain effective working relationships
    3. Facilitate group training
    4. Organize and prioritize work
    5. Write and revise standards and procedures
