This role is an opportunity for an experienced SE leader to play an integral role in the sale of our AppOmni SaaS Security platform. The SE leader will be responsible for managing all facets of the SE leader function, which includes Leading, Recruiting and Development of US based Solutions Engineers. The SE leader ensures technical + professional excellence in the technical aspect of the sales cycles performed by the SE team to contribute to our overall sales success.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solutions Engineering (SE) leader to play a pivotal role in driving the success of our AppOmni SaaS Security platform. The SE leader will oversee all aspects of the SE function, including leading, recruiting, and developing a team of North America based Solutions Engineers. This individual will be responsible for ensuring both technical and professional excellence in the execution of sales cycles, empowering the SE team to drive technical success and contribute to overall sales growth.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Leadership: The SE leader manages, supports and challenges the US SE team, giving guidance on individual and company objectives. 
  • Recruiting, Developing and Managing: The role is expected to lead, recruit and develop the highest caliber Solutions Engineers. Development includes onboarding of New Hires, ensuring all solutions engineers are ready to perform their duties in sales cycles and supporting personal career development. Management includes ensuring all tasks are completed and performed at the highest level of quality
  • Effectiveness and High-Quality: The role ensures the team is up to speed on latest Positioning and Demonstration Content and Practices. Deliverables to customers are of high quality following and nurturing best practices.
  • Sales Cycle Leadership: The SE leader is expected to be personally involved in the most important US sales cycles to ensure the highest possibility of success. This may include individual contribution to or owning technical sales cycles 
  • Active contribution to the solutions engineering Economy: Motivate the team to share best practices, analyze latest market trends and contribute to sales material.
  • The SE leader works closely together with the US Sales Directors as well as other AppOnmi leadership teams to continuously optimize the AppOmni technical engagement process and experience provided to customers. 
  • Act as liaison between customers, prospects and AppOmni product management for feature and function requests
  • Complete AppOmni demonstrations and presentations of the AppOmni platform. Ability to assist and help lead the implementation of AppOmni in proof of concepts together with assigned solution engineers. 

 

What We're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business or technical education
  • 5+ years’ experience in Solutions Engineering or Technical Leadership Role,  ideally in distributed environment
  • 5+ years’ experience in security pre-sales / SE management roles 
  • General knowledge of SaaS/cloud security and API based security solutions
  • SaaS SME expertise is a plus
  • Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving ability and can do attitude
  • Ability to articulate complex topics to novice or technical audience, and to translate technical advantages into business benefits
  • Engaged, positive attitude able to prioritize in demanding environment
  • Ability to travel

Our total rewards package includes the following:

  • Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $170,000 - $200,000 USD. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as the final candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business considerations and peer compensation.

  • Incentive Pay: We offer performance-based variable compensation in the form of a 30% commissions plan.
