Nelnet Diversified Services (NDS) is seeking a dynamic, results-driven sales leader to drive growth in our expanding digital accessibility and technology services portfolio. This role focuses on selling tailored solutions that empower clients to achieve compliance, enhance user experience, and optimize their technology operations. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with prospective and existing clients, conducting in-depth needs assessments, and presenting compelling solutions that address their unique challenges.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establish new business and achieve annual sales goals.
2. Forecast and prepare sales plans to achieve sales goals.
3. Retain and expand existing relationships with clients and partners.
4. Represent Nelnet at industry and association conventions, meetings and gatherings.
5. Work with marketing teams to develop strategic marketing plans for target clients.
6. Coordinate and conduct seminars / webinars for prospective and existing clients.
7. Maintain up to date information on clients and partners in CRM system.
8. Gather competitive information to assist in continually evaluating and understanding our market position, market conditions/trends, competitor services.
9. Share information gathered from current and prospect customers as to needs, issues, and ideas to improve current products/services or to assist in potentially developing new products/services.
10. Conduct effective contract, price, and service delivery negotiations.
11. Travel as needed.
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in business or technology.
EXPERIENCE:
3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, or technology consulting sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Experience in solution-based or consultative sales.
Experience in digital accessibility and/or related technology preferred. Experience working with Federal / State / Local government agencies, education, healthcare, or enterprise clients.
Understanding and knowledge around the digital accessibility rules and regulations (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), ADA, Section 508). Familiarity with assistive technologies (screen readers, voice recognition software, etc.).
Awareness of legal and compliance issues surrounding digital accessibility. Knowledge of UX/UI, web development, or digital design is a plus.
Experience delivering high-impact sales presentations to diverse stakeholders

1. Proven ability to drive new business, close deals, and expand accounts.
2. Familiarity with digital accessibility regulations, UX/UI best practices, and assistive technologies.
3. Skilled in structuring contracts and pricing strategies.
4. Excellent relationship, sales and account management skills.
5. Understand both the customer’s business and the Nelnet products and services to generate new sales
6. Aptitude for Information Technology and strong ability to learn new markets and solution suites.
7. Strong sales/presentation acumen.
8. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
9. Familiarity with research tools, networking sites and advanced internet search techniques.
10. Ability to Identify and develop strategies to overcome obstacles in the prospects or current customer’s decision-making process.
11. Willingness to engage in direct sales and customer calling.
12. Strong computer skills including sales management/data management software, presentation software, web hosting applications, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
13. Technical, with the ability to rapidly learn and understand new technologies. 14. Creative decision making and analytical skills with the proven ability to think on feet and arrive at solutions.
