This is a remote position.

Overview :

We are looking for 8+ Years of Mainframe skilled (Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS) resources who would be working on development and testing on major initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Significant hands-on experience as a Mainframe Developer, with a strong understanding of mainframe technologies and programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
Proven expertise in mainframe application design, development, and performance optimization.
In-depth knowledge of mainframe database management systems (DB2, IMS, VSAM, etc.) and file handling techniques.
Experience with system integration and interfacing between mainframe and other platforms.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and version control systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a development team and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
P&C Insurance, Membership, Claims, Billing domain experience is a plus.
