As a member of the Clinical Program Management team, the Health Care Services Program Manager drives clinical roadmap development and execution for one or more complex clinical condition or population health categories (e.g., oncology, musculoskeletal, etc.) to ensure affordability, member experience, and clinical outcome goals are met. 

Responsibilities include project and overall program execution, cross-functional stakeholder management and communication, opportunity identification, business case development, and solution design. Successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to develop long-term, cross-functional relationships, navigate a matrixed organization, communicate with and influence different stakeholder groups, effectively organize and drive forward multiple competing efforts, dive in and get answers, deal with ambiguity, and deliver measurable results.

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field (Masters preferred)

  • 8+ years’ experience with project and/or program management in healthcare, healthcare insurance operations or other large, complex industry. 

  • Experience in clinical area preferred.  May have equivalent combination of education and experience.

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Leads strategic program planning by partnering with sponsors and cross-functional teams to develop scope, resources, budgets, and timelines while using market intelligence to build business cases, support clinical strategy, and assess programs against corporate objectives

  • Manages and educates stakeholders at all levels by maintaining key relationships, delivering training on new program elements, and ensuring clear communication channels between internal/external partners

  • Directs multiple project teams and workstreams by identifying risks/opportunities, guiding teams toward program goals, and maintaining focus on deliverables while coordinating resources across departments

  • Establishes and maintains comprehensive performance monitoring systems including data/statistical reporting, assessment protocols, and program documentation while developing evaluation metrics that align with organizational goals

  • Collaborates with program leaders, senior management, and cross-functional directors to ensure aligned execution, develop monitoring protocols, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Implements and optimizes processes by recommending program changes, identifying efficiency opportunities, developing implementation plans, and ensuring best practices are followed across all workstreams

  • Drives outcome achievement through objective program assessments, strategic alignment of deliverables with organizational goals, and data-driven decision making while maintaining focus on desired results and stakeholder value

The expected hiring range for a Clinical Program Manager is $110,500 - $149,500 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%.  The current full salary range for this role is $104,000 - $169,00.
