Job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled B2C Web Development Team Lead to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in frontend development, particularly with React and Next.js in an e-commerce environment, and experience leading large-scale, high-traffic projects. This role involves managing a team of developers, designing new features, enhancing user experience, and ensuring the performance and scalability of web applications.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on frontend development with React and TypeScript, including building reusable components, hooks, and state management (Context API, Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
  • 2+ years of experience with Next.js and Node.js frameworks on large-scale B2C e-commerce projects (100K+ daily users), utilizing features such as SSG, SSR, and ISR.
  • Proven ability to lead development teams (FE + BE) and deliver high-performance e-commerce applications with high user traffic.
  • SEO, B2C conversion, Conversion analysis, and funnel optimization.
  • Experience with A/B Testing using tools like PostHog.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and optimization strategies such as module federation and service workers.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript best practices and advanced design patterns for complex applications.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience with headless CMS systems and real-time data handling (WebSockets, SSE).
  • Expertise in front-end security measures (CORS, CSP, XSS, CSRF).
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools (Web Vitals, Datadog RUM, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) and APM tools (Sentry, LogRocket).
  • Knowledge of CDN optimization (Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly) and caching strategies (Edge Caching, HTTP Caching, Service Workers).
  • Experience with load balancing (AWS ELB, Nginx), autoscaling (AWS Auto Scaling, Kubernetes, Vercel), and traffic management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with backend development technologies like C#.
  • Knowledge of automated browser testing and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
  • Working knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking full ownership of projects and ensuring their successful execution.
