Position Overview 

The Project Accounting Specialist will ensure the timely execution of the invoicing process, collection of all company receivables, and resolution to any billing Issues with clients, as well as be a key member of the K2M Support Team that's a dedicated team player, extremely organized, efficient, and flexible, able to adjust to an ever-changing work environment. Under general supervision of the Accounting Manager, the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to, client invoicing, collections, and managing consultant payment process.

Responsibilities (subject to change, modification as needed) are as follows, but not limited to:

· Working with Project Managers to verify billing schedules

· Track Reimbursable expenses to be billed to clients

· Generate and distribute client invoices

· Process consultant invoices

· Collections (for items aging up to 30 days)

· A/R reporting to Directors and Project Managers on a weekly basis

· Assists with accounts payable and special projects, as necessary.

Requirements
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 4+ years of work experience in the field of Accounting/Finance.
