PURPOSE: To represent and assist the International Union in organizing property services workers; to take responsibility for major campaigns and to act in a leadership role with respect to program and other staff; to perform advanced training for organizers, staff, and worker leaders of SEIU; and to design and implement organizing goals of SEIU.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Examples provide a general summary of the work required and should not be treated as a total and complete list of expected duties to be performed by employees in the classification.) Perform a wide range of duties as assigned by the International Union, including, but not limited to the following:
CONTACTS: Include SEIU and affiliate staff, elected leaders, staff and leaders at other unions, community and allied organizations, relevant public officials, and experts on issues pertinent to the operations of the Property Services Division.
DIRECTION & DECISION MAKING: Reports to the Division Organizing Coordinator and/or Campaign Director.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is generally performed out of the office in settings conducive to performing the tasks required to complete assignments including and not limited to worker facility visits, home visits, canvassing, worker strikes, meetings, rallies, and other union activities. Long and extended hours and extensive travel required
