POSITION: Manager, Commercial Partnerships      

DEPARTMENT: Legends Global Partnerships    

REPORTS TO: Director, Commercial Partnerships

THE ROLE

Manager, Commercial Partnerships, focused on Partner Success, supporting overall Partner Success team in helping drive value and marketplace impact for our Portfolio Partners, along with solutions delivery for our global portfolio of over 350+ arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support multiple Directors on the activation of various partners accounts, engaging with day-to-day clients as applicable!

  • Manage tracking of partner implementation & pipeline activity across venue portfolio

  • Manage successful deployment & tracking of contractual marketing deliverables across portfolio of partners (i.e., social posts, digital media campaigns, website integration, hospitality funds, internal conference logistics, etc.)

  • Maintain creative asset library across partner portfolio!

  • Actively engage in status meetings (weekly/biweekly) and update communications with clients

  • Lead on tracking of various internal venue due diligence & survey requests

  • Manage ongoing Commercial Partnerships venue matrix!

  • Coordinate regular cadence of industry insights and partner news across the team!

  • Ensure applicable billings against respective partners in coordination with Finance team!

  • Serve as primary lead within team for fulfillment costs tracking across all partner accounts!

  • Have genuine curiosity to learn about our partners’ business offerings and needs, in tandem with our various business verticals, to support delivery against applicable KPIs!

  • Become fluent on the individual venue nuances of the ASM Global portfolio and parameters of the different internal divisions to be the most effective advocate for our partners!

Education and/or Experience          

  • Bachelors' degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • 6+ years related work experience, preferably within the sports & entertainment industry

Skills and Abilities  

  • Highly self-motivated, initiative-taking mindset that enables the ability to work independently.

  • Highly organized, with laser-like attention to detail to proactively manage multiple partner projects/team deliverables/priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong experience with project management

  • Proactive attitude with very strong blend of analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to synthesize various data points to help deliver succinct recaps & tracking materials for team.

  • Ability to develop strong day-to-day client relationships and collaboration with multiple internal teammates/constituents.

  • Desire to have an active voice and presence in helping manage client relationships, in some cases leading certain aspects, in some cases supporting.

  • Willingness to learn the underpinnings of the venue management and operations business.

  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular being highly proficient in Excel.

  • Willingness to travel
