Role Overview

As the Senior Retention Marketing Strategist, you will be a key driver of HOARD’s client-focused retention strategies, leveraging AI-driven insights to deliver measurable outcomes. You will design and optimize lifecycle marketing programs—covering email, SMS, and emerging channels—to bolster customer lifetime value, increase repeat purchases, and maximize client ROI.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping how we execute retention marketing campaigns at scale, ensuring that our solutions not only meet clients’ immediate needs but also position them for sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retention Strategy & Lifecycle Management
    • Develop and refine lifecycle marketing strategies, including welcome flows, win-back campaigns, post-purchase journeys, and loyalty programs.
    • Integrate AI-driven personalization and segmentation to improve engagement metrics and overall ROI.
  • Campaign Execution & Optimization
    • Oversee the end-to-end execution of email and SMS campaigns—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to best practices.
    • Conduct A/B testing, analyze results, and refine strategies to drive continuous performance improvements.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
    • Translate performance data into actionable insights that inform future strategies.
    • Collaborate with data teams to build dashboards and reporting frameworks for client presentations.
  • Deliverability & Compliance
    • Maintain high deliverability standards and ensure compliance with GDPR, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM regulations.
    • Troubleshoot any deliverability issues and implement solutions to maintain sender reputation.

    Proficiency with leading ESPs (e.g., Klaviyo) and SMS platforms (e.g., Attentive, Postscript).
  • Analytical & Data-Driven
    Deep understanding of KPIs such as LTV, repeat purchase rates, and deliverability metrics.
  • Testing & Optimization Skills
    Proven track record of implementing A/B testing, personalization, and iterative improvements to boost engagement.
  • Compliance Knowledge
