About the Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and strategic head of marketing to spearhead all marketing efforts across all our strategic priorities.  CSD’s strategic priorities include new state client acquisition, current state infill and payer optimization strategies, talent acquisition campaigns, employee engagement and retention campaigns, Global services growth campaigns, School services development collateral, and Payor development materials. This leader also oversees external and internal communications, public relations, and branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and goals. 


This leader should have experience working with external agencies, leading a small, start-up internal team, developing team and talent over time, and using AI and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies tailored to consumer services (education, healthcare services or related areas) and skilled at generating compelling presentation and sales materials that involve storytelling, evoke emotion, and move people to into needed services.


Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic, Innovative, and Tactical Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive client lead generation from select insurance sources for in-person and virtual therapy programs
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand CSD Global (virtual therapy) program across all existing states (infill strategy) and to expand into new states (market expansion strategy)
  • Meet with our strategic partners and vendors (Floreo VR, etc.) to develop co-branded marketing campaigns for all CSD service expansion including school services expansion and Global (virtual) expansion
  • Lead our start-up marketing efforts and internal team by optimizing use of AI and other innovative resources to strategize, level-up and expand the team as the company grows

Digital Marketing & Client Acquisition

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns, to generate leads and encourage program enrollment
  • Formulate the optimal blend of agency vs internal lead generations; select, manage, and optimize use of agencies for digital search
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior, parent networks, and advocacy groups to optimize digital marketing strategies
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure ROI
  • Employee Recruiting and Retention Marketing Support
  • Enhance company branding and presentation of key messages to drive top of the funnel candidate flow and drive improvement across the recruiting pipeline
  • Oversee public relations strategies to build and maintain a positive public image and strengthen community engagement
  • Partner with internal teams to create a special focus on reaching our employee base to build affinity for CSD and to improve employee length of stay (retention)
  • Collaborate with CEO and executive leaders to develop integrated communication campaigns for launch of new recruiting and retention initiatives, contributing to the growth of the clinical team is a top priority

Market Expansion, Global (virtual) Services and School Services

  • Develop tailored marketing campaigns to enter new markets to generate client leads from preferred, premium funding sources (families with certain insurance services)
  • Understand and develop strategy surrounding our primary growth driver, Global (virtual), to drive growth in existing states and new market expansion; attracting families into our virtual program (Telehealth is generally not a first choice for families, so highlighting our virtual program, its 95% family excellence, and its strong kid-friendly differentiators, like VR and ed-tech, will be key in driving adoption)
  • Assist the school services team by analyzing marketing and sales materials and upleveling them as needed to help them secure more school district contracts in more states
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders, including industry influencers, partners, and vendors to expand brand reach.

Additional Duties

  • Work cross-collaboratively with internal teams (operations, compliance, finance, legal, etc.)

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher or equivalent proven experience in the field)
  • Intensive marketing experience across the breath of marketing functions and deep in lead generation, brand building, and new market development. other advanced degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with strong record of accomplishment 
  • Proven experience in the consumer-services segment or highly relatable field
  • Consistent use of innovation and creativity to overcome challenges and generate growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and innovation
  • Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in marketing systems and a rapid adopter of AI and other enhancement tools
  • Confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment and content 
  • Able to travel to multiple work sites, to meet with payors, attend in-person meetings if/as needed (proof of valid driver license, current auto insurance identification card, and acceptable driving record per NIAC standards is required)
