About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the continued success of our new categories (including Jewellery, Melee, Gems, and Fancy diamonds) within Nivoda’s Innovation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to enhance the category's growth. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to create a seamless and valuable experience for buyers and suppliers. Your insights and leadership will shape how Diamonds Gems & Melee are sourced, transacted, and managed within the B2B space, setting new industry standards.
What You'll Do:
Category Strategy & Vision: Define the vision and strategy for the categories, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Leverage market insights, user research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and define a unique value proposition.
Product Roadmap: Develop and own the product roadmap, prioritizing features that enhance buyer engagement, simplify sourcing, and drive revenue.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and customer support teams to align category goals, gather requirements, and ensure a cohesive approach to category development.
Customer Insights: Conduct regular user research to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of B2B buyers and suppliers. Translate insights into actionable product enhancements.
User Experience: Partner with design and UX teams to optimize the platform experience for professional gems and melee buyers, with a focus on search, discovery, filtering, and checkout.
Supplier Integration: Work with supply chain and operations teams to enhance supplier onboarding, managing product data quality, inventory tracking, and pricing.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics to track category performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions on product development. Define KPIs to measure success.
Launch & Go-to-Market: Lead the go-to-market strategy, collaborating with marketing and sales to develop campaigns, content, and training materials to drive category adoption.
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements by testing and iterating on new features, gathering feedback, and staying attuned to changes in the B2B gems and melee market.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within eCommerce, marketplaces, or B2B product environments. Experience in the gems or melee industry is a strong plus.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical requirements. Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach to decision-making with a strong grasp of metrics, analytics tools, and customer feedback mechanisms.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven track record of translating customer needs into compelling product features and experiences.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex challenges with innovative, strategic solutions.
B2B Experience: Experience in B2B marketplaces or supply chain-focused platforms.
[Preferred] Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with gems & melee sourcing, distribution, and market trends.
