Unit is a market leader in embedded finance. We offer ready-to-launch financial services - like banking and capital - and serve millions of end-users across ~100 customers, including Wix, Bill.com, Honeybook, Relay, and more.

We’re repeat founders with technical backgrounds, working hard to build a successful company that we’re proud to work at. Our product moves $40b+ annually and processes 12m+ API calls daily. We’ve raised $160m+ from top investors including Insight, Accel, and 60+ angels.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team, to lead the build of a new strategic product line in the embedded finance space. You will work closely with our clients - which include some of the brightest companies and entrepreneurs in the industry.. Our goal is to make a difference at a large scale, make financial features accessible and simple, and improve people’s relationship with their money. You will play a key role in fulfilling that vision, working with some of the smartest, most passionate, and fun people in the industry.
For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to help build an industry-defining company from the ground up. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own a new strategic initiative for Unit, from initial research to delivery and business performance.

• Define the product vision and create the product roadmap.

• Communicate constantly with everyone - in and out of the company.

• Make good decisions, balancing quality, speed and customer experience.

• Drive business outcomes  - act as an owner, and focus on delivering value.

• Provide strategic guidance as well as tactical priorities to the engineering team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• 5+ years of product management experience (background in the lending or accounting space - advantage)

• Strong technical understanding - we build software used by the industry's best tech and product companies. 

• Experience with both B2B and B2C products - Advantage

• Curious nature, driven by impact and excited to influence the future of Fintech.

• Passion for product, strategy, and culture.

• Proven track record of driving strong results in a similar position.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (English at a native level)

• Leading products in growth stage companies (including ex-founders, product leaders) - Advantage
