As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading both the sales and marketing functions, ensuring alignment between these critical areas. Your primary goal will be to develop and execute integrated strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and capture market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet company goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, setting clear objectives, offering guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to identify new market opportunities, track competitor activities, and provide insights to refine sales and marketing tactics.
  • Sales Performance: Oversee the sales pipeline, establish sales targets, and implement plans to achieve and exceed them. Collaborate with the executive team to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Direct the development of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, product launches, and promotional events. Ensure consistent messaging that aligns with the brand's vision.
  • Engagement with Tech Startups: Leverage your experience working with or engaging tech startups to foster partnerships, identify market opportunities, and support startup clients in their growth journey.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales and marketing budgets, optimising resource allocation to maximize ROI and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports to the executive team on sales forecasts, marketing campaign performance, and key metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior sales and marketing leadership role, ideally within a technology or B2B sector.
  • Experience engaging with tech startups, including building partnerships or working with early-stage companies to scale.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
