The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Regional Payroll Senior Analyst (m/f/x)*, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Nordic countries, in compliance with local payroll regulations

  • Importing the salary / tax bank files into the bank

  • Calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes accurately, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements

  • Termination or resignation – Such as early payment of AIP/SIP as part of leaver process, vacation days according to local policy.

  • Time & attendance system to be handled, including monthly sickness reporting, parental leave & long-term sickness & sick for reimbursement according to local law

  • Responding to employee inquiries & provide guidance on payroll-related issues

  • Collaborating with HR & finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations

  • Generating payroll reports and maintained payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

  • Fluent in English

  • 5 + years in payroll processing

  • Proficient in Nordic payroll regulations and laws

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Previous experience in processing payroll for a large employee base, including calculating wages, overtime, and bonuses

  • Handling payroll tax filings and ensured compliance with Ireland tax laws

  • Assisting in resolving payroll discrepancies and reconciling payroll accounts

  • Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data

  • Supporting HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding processes
