Position Summary:

We are looking for a Project-Based Recruitment Specialist with 3-5 years of proven experience recruiting handymen, Airbnb cleaners, and maintenance workers in Brisbane, Australia. The ideal candidate should have a strong network in the Brisbane labor market, expertise in sourcing skilled tradespeople, and a strategic approach to high-volume blue-collar recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to source handymen, Airbnb cleaners, and maintenance staff for Brisbane, Australia.
• Utilize local job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and referral networks to attract top talent.
• Conduct structured screenings, interviews, and skills assessments to ensure candidates meet Smart Suites' requirements.
• Manage pre-employment processes, including work rights verification, background checks, and required certifications.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable on-call and project-based workers.
• Collaborate with operations and property management teams to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
• Ensure compliance with Australian labor laws, work rights, and industry standards for hiring in Brisbane.
• Provide regular recruitment reports and insights on hiring progress, challenges, and market trends.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in recruiting handymen, cleaners, and maintenance workers for Brisbane, Australia.
• Established network and sourcing capabilities for skilled tradespeople in the Brisbane labor market.
• Strong expertise in high-volume, blue-collar recruitment, with a proven track record of successful hires.
