This is a remote position.
We are a British-owned company specializing in toy manufacturing across Asia, and we are seeking a dedicated Quality and Compliance Manager based in Vietnam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality and compliance standards. You will lead the development and execution of QA strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee the entire quality assurance process from design to production. This position requires occasional travel to other countries, including Cambodia and Indonesia, to ensure our quality standards are upheld across all sites.
Working time: Monday to Friday
Location: Vietnam, with occasional travel required
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall QA strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and product roadmap.
Establish QA processes and standards to ensure consistent product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Provide guidance and support in product assessment, testing, and product compliance.
Collaborate with the design and production team to define quality criteria, acceptance criteria, and testing requirements for new features and products.
Implement and maintain testing frameworks to ensure full test coverage.
Monitor product metrics and quality indicators, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
Manage relationships with external QA vendors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Conduct QA reviews, audits, and post-mortems to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure clear communication with customer services on all customer complaints/quality issues and provide clear feedback and information required
Set up a clear protocol for quality issues occurring pre/during and post-production
Responsible for global warehouse quality checks and monthly reporting
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product management and technology.
Potential for travel to other parts of Asia to carry out factory visits in line with the above
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry (preferably soft toy/ footwear/ garment)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices
Fluent English communication
Willing to travel frequently (Vietnam and overseas)
