Due to the success of our organization, we are hiring a National Field Sales Specialist - Wound

The National Sales Specialist - Wound will utilize value-selling techniques to develop professional relationships with key strategic referral sources in the US, and maintain responsibility for wound sales through all sales channels at HCD. This role will be responsible for meeting referral, revenue and profitability goals for DME referral sources throughout the USA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Perform account planning and sales execution practices to maximize new referral sales for HCD’s top national accounts as well as high-potential target accounts as identified through all sales channels.
  • Establish and solidify relationships with key contacts at provider offices and peripheral organizations to lock in HCD as the
  • preferred supplier for DME products within our portfolio.
  • Educate and confer with referral sources on HCD as a full solution service in addition to a supplier of products.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and current news to direct and coordinate sales and marketing activities within the wound market.
  • Consult with upper management to develop marketing strategies and achieve sales goals within compliance guidelines.
  • Monitor and report on activities within the wound market across all channels, and relay material concerns and wins with
  • management and appropriate departments.
  • Work cross-functionally with team members in Marketing, Operations, Payer and other Sales teams to ensure functional
  • effectiveness of business
  • Maintain thorough contact and activity records within HCD CRM system
  • Travel nationally to major accounts 50% of the time and maintain close relationships virtually when necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five or more years of wound DME experience required
  • Three or more years of customer/client clinical training in wound products required
  • Three or more years of sales territory management with proven ability to build relationships and overcome objections
  • Three or more years experience interacting with senior leadership and other departments on business updates, removing
  • roadblocks and streamlining processes
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and general computer literacy

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours a day, while working at a computer station.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using a keyboard, mouse, and other computer peripherals for data entry and communication purposes.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods, with good visual acuity to read small print and accurately enter data.
  • Hearing: Adequate hearing ability, with or without correction, to understand and respond to customer inquiries via telephone or other audio equipment.
  • Repetitive Movements: Regular use of the hands, wrists, and fingers to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse.
