Core responsibilities:

Verify patients' insurance coverage and benefits for both dental and medical procedures. Generate Statements for balances after payment has been entered Submit and track insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and work with insurance companies to resolve issues. Ensure coding accuracy to maximize reimbursement and prevent claim denials. Stay updated on changes in coding standards and insurance policies. Ensure coding accuracy to maximize reimbursement and prevent claim denials. Stay updated on changes in coding standards and insurance policies. Process payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records. Follow up on outstanding balances and set up patient payment plans when necessary.
