UMortgage is on the hunt for outgoing, professional, and highly organized Loan Specialists to add to our Loan Operations team! The Loan Specialist role is a full-time, high-touch, pipeline and file management role. While the Loan Officer (LO) role is defined by outbound sales activity and referral partner engagement, the Loan Specialist is designed for the process-focused, high-capacity loan technician. By relying on the LO counterpart to handle prospecting and relationship building, the Loan Specialist (LS) can originate dozens of loans per month from the “inside.”
Important distinction: Loan Specialists are not glorified LOAs. While some of the file-level responsibilities may resemble those of an LOA, the LS position overall carries more weight, responsibility, and ownership than that of an LOA. LSs are expected to be the keepers of the loan castle, the mortgage advisor/expert and the sales leaders of the division, not just closing deals but winning them. Apply Today!
