Data Annotation / Labeling Specialist (Arabic Text)

We are seeking Arabic-fluent Data Annotation Specialists to work on high-volume text labeling projects. You will be responsible for reviewing and tagging Arabic text data, ensuring accuracy and consistency. The role may require periodic travel to Saudi Arabia or other Gulf countries for training, workshops, or on-site project tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Label and annotate large datasets of Arabic text (e.g., social media posts, documents, chat transcripts) following detailed guidelines.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality control through frequent self-checks and peer reviews.
• Collaborate with project leads to refine labeling criteria and resolve ambiguities.
• Document any edge cases, language nuances, or potential improvements in labeling processes.
• Participate in regular feedback sessions to ensure labeling standards are met.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Native or fluent Arabic skills (written and spoken).
• Conversational to proficient English language skills, with ability to read and write in English for documentation purposes.
• High attention to detail, ability to handle repetitive tasks without losing focus.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with annotation tools or willingness to learn.
• Team player with good communication skills; comfortable with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Teams).

Preferred/Optional

• Previous experience in data labeling, content moderation, or transcription.
• Knowledge of dialects or domain-specific terminology (legal, medical, etc.).
