As a B2BC solution provider, you will have the opportunity to develop both data-driven products tailored for business clients and those enhancing end-customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to support our product and business teams in identifying areas with the highest growth potential. This role is crucial to our mission of leveraging data to its fullest potential, optimizing business operations, and enhancing our products.

As a Data & Analytics Director, you will collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Analysts, engaging with various stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your leadership will be key in fostering a data-driven culture at Profitroom, ensuring that insights translate into real business impact.

Daily activities:

  • Defining and executing the data strategy, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing Data team of product analysts, business analysts, and data engineers.
  • Collaborating with business and product teams to develop data-driven products, enhance reporting, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Driving improvements in data quality and governance by working across teams to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and actionable.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to align data initiatives with business objectives and product development.
  • Providing strategic insights through advanced analytics and supporting executive decision-making with data-driven recommendations.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis for digital/SaaS products (B2B or B2C).
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in the data field, managing cross-functional teams (data analysts, product analysts, data engineers, etc.).
  • Proven ability to align data strategy with business goals, ensuring effective collaboration between the data team and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Experience with data engineering principles, SQL, and scalable data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
  • Understanding of data governance best practices and experience in developing structured reporting and documentation.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio) for data visualization and reporting.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and data-driven decision-making, applying statistical methods to business challenges.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis, automation, or data processing.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based analytics architectures, with Google Cloud Platform preferred.
  • Familiarity with Databricks for data engineering and analytics.
  • Experience in building and productionalizing Data Science solutions, such as predictive models, recommendation systems, or optimization algorithms.
