What You Will Do

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager to join our Fulfillment Finance team. In this role, you will be a key player in maximizing profitability for our third-party and intercompany business, coordinating intercompany pricing strategies, and ensuring accurate transactional costs. This position reports to the Director, FP&A and is a remote working role.

  • Third-Party Profitability:

    • Analyze profitability of third-party customer segments, products, and channels.

    • Identify opportunities to improve pricing, reduce costs, and enhance profitability.

    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to third-party profitability.

    • Develop processes and reporting to ensure third-party transactional cost data accurately reflects invoiced costs

    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on third-party performance.

  • Intercompany Profitability:

    • Develop processes and reporting to ensure intercompany transactional cost data is accurately reflected

    • Monitor and analyze intercompany transaction data to identify trends, potential risks and opportunities for profit optimization

    • Collaborate with other intercompany businesses 

  • Transactional Standard Cost Accuracy:

    • Develop audit processes and reporting to monitor transactional cost data for accuracy

    • Identify discrepancies and develop remediation to improve overall accuracy of transactional standard cost data for internal, third-party, and intercompany fulfillment

    • Analyze fulfillment cost variances and identify cost drivers to optimize profitability.

    • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate cost estimates by fulfillment type.

    • Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of cost fluctuations on product profitability.

  • Other:

    • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities related to third-party and intercompany fulfillment.

    • Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.

    • Support internal and external audit requirements.

    • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

 

What You Need:

  • Post-Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.

  • Experience with transfer pricing regulations and best practices.

  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and prepare insightful reports.

  • A proactive, engaged, and action-oriented attitude.

  • An attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), and comfort with presenting to all levels of the organization.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with high energy and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake and database mining.

  • CPA or CMA designation.
