Working Student Product Management (m/f/d)

As a Working Student Product Management (m/f/d) at SIXT, you will be part of the Post-Booking team, which focuses on optimizing the customer experience from the moment a booking is made until the car is picked up. This department plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and efficient journey for our customers, covering key touchpoints such as Documentation, Online Check-in, Digital Checkout, Transactional Communication, Loyalty Program and Account Management. 

During your internship, you will gain hands-on experience working on digital-first solutions that enhance convenience and reduce friction in the rental process. You will collaborate with experienced product managers, engineers, designers, and data analysts while developing your product management skills in the world of mobility environment.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You assist in defining product requirements, you write user stories and create wireframes to support product development

• You conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and product improvements

• You analyze user behavior, product metrics and feedback to drive data-driven decision-making

• You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design and marketing to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives

• You support A/B testing, usability studies and other experimentation processes to optimize product performance

• You contribute to roadmap planning, product strategy discussions and brainstorming sessions

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related field

• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and make data-backed recommendations

• You have an excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset 

• You have a passion for technology, digital products and an eagerness to learn about product management

• You have basic understanding of Agile methodologies, UX principles, and product development lifecycle

• Ideally you already have done a previous internship experience in product management, tech or a related field

This requires support for appointments, calendar supervision, communication, administrative work, and many daily tasks. In our assistant positions, cleverness and thinking outside the box are required, many topics, even confidential ones, end up on the desk and the network to many departments and colleagues makes cooperation much easier.
