• Author Representation: Serve as a liaison between scientific researchers and publishing houses, representing their interests and ensuring their work gets the attention it deserves.
  
• Manuscript Evaluation: Review scientific manuscripts to assess their quality, marketability, and potential impact in the scientific community.
  
• Publishing Strategy: Collaborate with authors to develop a comprehensive publishing strategy, including identifying suitable publishing venues, determining optimal publication formats, and targeting the right audience.
  
• Query and Proposal Preparation: Assist authors in crafting compelling query letters and book proposals, highlighting the unique aspects and significance of their scientific research.
  
• Submission and Negotiation: Submit manuscripts to publishing houses, follow up on submissions, and negotiate publishing agreements, including contract terms and royalties.
  
• Rights Management: Coordinate the management of intellectual property rights, including copyright registration and permissions for the use of third-party content.
  
• Author Branding: Collaborate with authors on developing their online presence, including author websites, social media profiles, and other promotional materials.
  
• Industry Research: Stay informed about industry trends, new publishing platforms, and emerging opportunities for scientific research dissemination.
  
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with editors, publishers, and other key stakeholders in the scientific publishing industry.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, etc.) or a related field.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey scientific concepts to a broad audience.
  
• Strong research and analytical skills to assess the quality and impact of scientific manuscripts.
  
• Familiarity with the scientific research process and publication practices, including knowledge of various scientific journals and publishing houses.
  
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple author projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  
• Knowledge of intellectual property rights, copyright laws, and permissions for using third-party content.
  
• Proficiency in crafting compelling written materials, including query letters, book proposals, and author biographies.
  
• Networking and relationship-building skills to establish connections with key industry professionals.
  
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Familiarity with digital marketing, online branding, and social media platforms is a plus.
