Job title: SAP S/4H Conversion BASIS/FIORI Consultant Job Description: • S/4H Conversion Consultant - BASIS & FIORI • Ability to perform and execute SAP S/4H Conversion projects efficiently and successfully • Install, Configure, Administer and Support SAP S/4 HANA 2020, 1909, 1809, 1709, 1610, 1511, 1503, ERP6.0 EHP, Process Orchestrator, BW, BPC, NetWeaver FIORI/Gateway, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, Content Server, Adobe Document Services, Business Objects • Architect, Install, configure, Administer and Monitor HANA, Sybase ASE, MS SQL Databases • Administer, manage and support SAP clients, transports, users, roles, gateway • Day-to-Day system monitoring of a 3 tier SAP landscape with multiple integration points for ABAP, Java and other SAP systems • Perform Solution Manager Basic, Managed System Configuration, EWA, Technical Monitoring, CTS+, BPMon, Solution Desk, ChaRM, etc. • Plan and Implement ABAP based Support pack stack, Support Pack Upgrades, Language Installs, etc. • Document Standards, Systems Architecture, runbooks and monitoring Infrastructure • Perform review of customer's SAP Readiness Check report • Implement SAP FIORI Out of the box applications • Review and implement SAP notes to resolve complex issues pertaining to the SAP FIORI application • Configure SAP FIORI based applications used by the client • Enable SAP FIORI applications as a single Sign On • Perform SAP FIORI security, system administration, roles setup, FIORI Launchpad groups, role mapping • Work seamlessly with Security team to assign security roles, catalogs and groups in Gateway server and ECC backend • Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing. • Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines. • Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) for business applications or infrastructure to associates or third parties in order to maintain their productivity level (including international and fourth level break/fix support). • Deliver basic SAP training to client end-users (especially using FIORI applications in your area) • Work very closely with other project consultants (BASIS, Functional, Security, Development) • Perform ABAP troubleshooting during Conversion steps • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills Required Skills & Experience • 3-7 Years SAP BASIS experience with at least 2 years of S/4HANA Installations, Migration & Conversion, including FIORI Configuration and Activation • Must have S/4H Conversion experience (at least two Conversion projects) • Hands-on experience using SUM, DMO tools and deep knowledge of all phases of the S/4H Conversion process:
• Maintenance Planner, Readiness Check Report, SI Catalog Report, ATC Check Report, code migration • AS-Java (can be a Portal Java, PO Java, etc) experience • Experience in Implementing Java Support Package Upgrades • Experience in implementing different SAP authentication scenarios for traditional ABAP, Java and Gateway systems/applications using Kerberos, SAML and • Certificate based Authentication through external and internal to the network. • Demonstrable experience in SSO based on SAML authentication • A strong experience in Solman 7.1 and above • Working experience with SAP S/4HANA including FIORI Applications • Experience with SAP Readiness Check review is a must-have • Deep understanding of various FIORI deployment options • 2-5 years hands-on experience configuring FIORI for various S/4HANA versions • Thorough understanding of Front-end and Back-end terminologies like OData, services, metadata concept, Framework designer, System Aliases, RFCs, etc. • Ability to configure FIORI using task list and manual methods • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Web Dispatcher for external and internal accesses using SAML based SSO using ADFS, NetWeaver as IDP and NetWeaver as Service Provider • Excellent, proven troubleshooting skills in all facets of FIORI-based implementations • 2-5 years experience in creating FIORI catalogs, Tiles, Front-end and Back-end security roles • 3 years in designing and building SAP role strategy for mid-sized companies. Thorough understanding of enabler, single, composite role concept • Ability to troubleshoot SAP security issues pertaining to FIORI Front-end and Back-end deployments • Experience with launchpad designer – ability to create catalogs and groups, familiar with using reference tiles/catalogs. Knowledge of back-end catalogs is an asset • Up to date knowledge of FIORI activations (system versions 1610 and higher) – familiarity with the Fiori Apps Library, ICF node and OData activation, and setting up system aliases • Strong experience with Javascript and XML • Excellent skills troubleshooting web applications using Chrome Developer Tools • Knowledge of Model View Controller (MVC) • Experience in cloud-based Fiori implementations with focus on a hybrid S/4 landscape • Experience activating/configuring Fiori My Inbox application • Familiarity with UI5 and the structures of UI5 applications • Familiarity with hosting Fiori on Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Cloud Services • Strong communication and time management skills; experience with multi-tasking between projects is an asset • Must possess traits of dependability, reliability, task-oriented and focused, ability to follow 'cookbook' and methodology (S/4H Conversion methodology) • Consultant must show independence, ability to follow through with tasks to completion, willingness to take initiative where required Nice-to-Have: • Experience in SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Connector, Cloud SSO is a plus • Certification in HANA2.0 is a definite plus • AWS, Azure, GCP certification SAP Certification in FIORI and/or BASIS • University Degree Preferred
