The Revenue Lead is a critical contributor to the company’s financial performance, responsible for maintaining and analyzing revenue and supply models to drive strategic insights. This role includes performing monthly revenue variance analysis to support management and board-level reporting, ensuring accurate performance tracking. The Revenue Lead plays a pivotal role in the quarterly and annual forecasting processes, helping to set revenue targets, and establishing the key assumptions to guide decision-making and align with company objectives.

What you'll get the opportunity to do:

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and financial models based on historical trends and market analysis.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and explain revenue growth, sales performance, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour to inform the revenue forecast.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Lead comprehensive monthly variance analysis to uncover trends, identify discrepancies, and pinpoint opportunities for revenue growth, supply optimization, and yield management.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful commentary for management and board-level presentations to explain revenue trends and performance.
  • Provide cross-functional guidance and support to help achieve revenue targets by monitoring progress, and supporting sales enablement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics, revenue growth, and sales performance, providing insights to senior management.

Process Optimization

  • Partner with the Strategic Transformation team to automate existing processes and identify areas for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of Adaptive, helping build a robust and accurate revenue model within the FP&A planning tool.
  • Build tools and processes to help immediate and cross-functional revenue stakeholders better understand and be able to participate in revenue growth initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive other process improvements and enhance operational efficiency to support revenue reporting and analysis.

Financial Modelling

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate various business scenarios, enabling the organization to make data-driven, informed decisions.
  • Participate and consult for all cross-functional revenue-driving initiatives and strategies maintaining and ensuring visibility of revenue impact to finance and leadership.
What you'll bring to the team:
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant finance role
  • CFA or CPA designation, along with prior experience in a finance environment, is preferred
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities and the ability to break problems into smaller steps.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pricing models, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, financial modelling and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and ability to influence decision-making among senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Business Acumen that can quickly learn how Flipp works, experience in two-sided marketplace businesses considered an asset.
