Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific with an hour unpaid break
  • Handle bookkeeping for multiple clients simultaneously
  • Adapt to varying client needs and industry-specific requirements
  • Continuously improve QuickBooks Online skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of the firm’s bookkeeping services
  • Collaborate with team members and leverage collective expertise


Responsibilities
  • Clean up and organize complex QuickBooks Online files, including multi-year records
  • Perform full-charge bookkeeping duties for multiple clients across various industries
  • Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial records
  • Conduct batch reclassifications and adjust partially matched transactions
  • Investigate and correct issues causing off-balance accounts
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex bookkeeping challenges
  • Handle year-end adjustments and fixed asset depreciation
  • Prepare financial information for tax return preparation

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with multiple clients and industries
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Adaptability to various client needs and industry-specific requirements
