We’re looking for a hands-on Product Marketing Specialist for SonicWall. You will be a key player on the team that brings SonicWall’s threat protection and MSP enablement product offerings to market, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and SonicPlatform. You’ll also help ensure success for our Technology Alliance Partner Program.

Key Responsibilities:

The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing the go-to-market strategy to meet business objectives in line with our global market. You’ll work cross-functionally across product management, marketing, sales, and sales enablement to drive awareness and sales of our products and services.

Marketing and Business Development

  • Coordinate the EDR launch cycle and create collateral to explain new features to the market.
  • Provide product marketing support for upsell efforts from EDR to MDR.
  • Manage and execute the product marketing needs for our Technology Alliance Partner Program, including web page updates, collateral, and co-marketing opportunities with partners.
  • Collaborate to develop and implement marketing plans. Support the preparation of business plans focused on business development for a defined market.
  • Produce product, industry and thought leadership content through blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, web pages and more.
  • Support cross-functional teams to successfully launch products, create collaterals, and drive growth.
  • Evaluate product and market opportunities and decide appropriate activities in line with the strategy. Facilitate opportunities across corporate departments and business units where appropriate.

Sales Support, Enablement and Tool Development

  • Communicate the value proposition of the products to the various channels within SonicWall.
  • Develop the sales tools and training that support the selling process of our service to various teams for EDR and threat protection products, including external partners.
  • Develop sales and partner communications for updates to the Technology Alliance Partner Program.Acquire deep customer/partner knowledge through market research, persona, segmentation analysis, customer interviews and internal business metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of product marketing experience for a B2B company offering a technical product or service, or customer-facing security expertise.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or other related field.
  • You pick up on new technical concepts quickly and can then explain them to someone else.
  • You enjoy public speaking and do it well.
  • You’re an excellent writer and have a solid portfolio of marketing and thought leadership content to share, including material for both technical and business audiences.
  • You’re proactive and can work across teams and functions effectively.
  • You want to be part of something big and learn as much as you can in the process.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience marketing cybersecurity solutions or services.
  • Experience writing cybersecurity content.
  • Experience managing integrations or other technology vendor partnerships and co-marketing.
  • Channel experience.
  • Sales enablement experience.
  • You’re a strong storyteller.
  • You’re passionate about exploring new technologies.
