Our Client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Credit Assistant for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
Completes data entry, contacts customers and works with the sales team regarding credit applications.
Fulfills duties which include credit releases, credit references, credit limit monitoring, research and reconciliation activities of complex customer accounts. Performs activities under moderate supervision.
Vets all new applications to ensure completeness and accuracy in line with established procedures.
Conducts credit worthiness reviews via credit reporting provider/financial statements/payment history.
Sets up new customer accounts or makes amendments to existing customer accounts within the system.
Ensures reconciliation of complex customer accounts. Prepares weekly/monthly reports as required.
Works cross functionally with Cummins Business Services, Sales and Business to identify potential issues and look for solutions.
Ensures escalation of high risk customers to Credit Manager/Sales team.
Monitors accounts receivable balance against credit limit to help with forecasting. Monitors and reports on balances owed on cash sale accounts.
Reviews blocked orders and releases where appropriate.
Ensures local entity credit activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies.
