Salary Range:
up to 2000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a company specializing in seasonal workforce management, with a strong focus on high-volume hiring for general labor positions. The team operates in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and efficiency are key.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for recruiting general laborers at scale while also providing HR support. Initially, the focus will be on high-volume hiring (35-50 seasonal workers within a month), followed by a transition to HR coordination duties after peak hiring seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Focus:

  • Manage job postings across Indeed and other job boards to attract candidates.
  • Conduct high-volume initial phone screenings to assess qualifications.
  • Coordinate follow-up interviews with hiring managers.
  • Handle onboarding and ensure compliance with hiring procedures.


HR Coordination (Post-Hiring Season):

  • Maintain and update employee policies.
  • Oversee training materials and ensure proper documentation.
  • Manage payroll processing through Gusto.
  • Address HR-related inquiries and employee support issues.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in high-volume hiring.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience using job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) for sourcing.
  • HR administration experience (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and payroll systems (Gusto experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and improve existing hiring processes.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience recruiting seasonal or blue-collar workers.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
