Job description

IEM is looking for a Full Time - Deputy Program Manager who shall consistently work with the Program Manager to implement and ensure the optimum program management services, case management of the assigned applications, and contract management to ensure the most effective progress of the program sponsored construction activities.

Primary Location:

  • Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States but living in Eastern Time is preferred
  • Once hired you will deploy (travel) across the United States to client sites as needed
  • You will work remote from home when not deployed
  • All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Travel Requirements

  • Will travel to client sites and IEM offices to conduct or participate on meetings as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Scheduling, assigning staff, allocating resources, assessing risk, and managing them.
  • Coordinating various components that contribute to the Project to ensure on-time delivery
  • Ensuring that deadlines are met, and keeping all parties informed of progress and any outstanding issues. Contribute and support the client production goals and responsible to identify potential risks and identify feasible solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters Degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience in emergency management with eight (8) of those years in a supervisory position, managing a minimum of five (5) staff and reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
