We currently have a career opportunity for a Marketing Cloud Intelligence Solutions Architect to join our Data & Analytics Team.

Job Overview:

A Solutions Architect is expected to be knowledgeable in two or more technologies within (a given Solutions/Practice area). The Solutions Architect may or may not have a programming background, but will have expert infrastructure architecture, client presales/presentation, team management, and thought leadership skills.

You will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will assist in defining the scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third-party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.

You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, and participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.

This role is considered part of the Business Unit Senior Leadership team and may mentor delivery team members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, architecture & design to build analytics reports & dashboards in SFMC Intelligence (Datorama) Platform.
  • Define and establish the reference architecture & best practices for SFMC Intelligence (Datorama) platform data integration, harmonization and visualization layers configuration and implementation.
  • Define the architecture and design to configure SFMC Intelligence (Datorama) platform to integrate with digital marketing platforms using out of the box connectors to collect, cleanse, unify, transform, and aggregate the marketing data from various sources into standard Datorama data model, to create one unified view of data for marketing analytics and insights. Lead data discovery, assessment, analysis, modeling, and mapping efforts for dashboard.
  • Define and establish data governance processes to maintain the integrity, quality, and consistency of the data, as well as maintain access controls to adhere to privacy & compliance requirements. Define and implement best practices for workspace, data security, data retention, and data lifecycle management.
  • Configure, customize, manage, and govern the SFMC Intelligence (Datorama) platform. Design and implement data models, data connector configuration, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights quickly and enable data driven decision-making.
  • Define guidelines to promote standardization and reusability of visualization and data harmonization layers across brands and channels.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the business users of the platform, to maximize the utilization of platform capabilities. Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to the platform to improve its effectiveness, utilization, and maximize the value. Identify opportunities to optimize the license and total cost of ownership of the platform.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as SFMC Intelligence (Datorama) Architect, with strong hands-on experience in building marketing analytics solutions and unifying the digital marketing data and possess in-depth knowledge of the platform capabilities.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Data visualization & reporting, Data modeling, data warehouses, ETL, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Dashboards, Reports, SQL, and REST APIs.
  • Proven experience in working with large datasets and complex marketing data models.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting including Qlik Sense and at least one other data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Thought Spot, or Datorama and knowledge of analytics capabilities.
  • Possess good understanding of the digital marketing landscape, AdTech platforms, marketing analytics and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with proven ability to understand translate business needs into technical requirements and implement the solution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Agile teams following Agile Kanban and Scrum methodologies.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence Accredited Professional certification is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency
  • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
  • Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
  • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
  • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
  • Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills.
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Be independent and self-driven.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certification in Datorama/SFMC Intelligence
  • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight
  • Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices
  • Track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $202,730. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
