Job Title: Temporary Financial Analyst – Buy-Side Due Diligence

Summary

GoTeam is currently seeking a Temporary Financial Analyst to support our team in conducting comprehensive buy-side financial due diligence for a business acquisition. In this role, you will analyze financial statements, assess risks and opportunities, and provide insights that will guide the acquisition decision-making process. If you have strong analytical skills and experience in financial due diligence, this position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project.

Note: This position is guaranteed for one month only but could likely extend further based on project needs.

Key Duties

  • Conduct detailed analysis of the target company’s financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to assess overall financial performance and position.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the financial due diligence process, identifying key financial risks and opportunities.
  • Help in the creation of proforma financial statements to project the future financial performance of the combined entity post-acquisition.
  • Gather and organize relevant financial data and documentation to support the due diligence process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform variance analysis to compare historical performance against projections, identifying trends and deviations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and insights from the due diligence process to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and comprehensive evaluation of the target company.


Skills And Experience

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in financial analysis, preferably in a due diligence or M&A environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and the use of analytical tools and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with financial due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and M&A best practices.
