Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable, preparing journal entries, performing ledger reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end close process. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and analyze AR & Collections reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Process daily customer deposits (checks, ACH, WT, CC) and handle customer refunds.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, performing reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the collections and other teams to address and resolve billing/payment discrepancies.
• Contact customers to collect past-due balances and maintain good relationships.
• Assist with periodic financial audits.
• Record account write-offs, bad debts, and sales tax adjustments.
• Generate and review AR Aging reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• High level of accountability and curiosity.
