Senior Product Manager I

Joining Collibra’s Product Team

We are looking for a senior product manager to join our growing product management team. The mission of the Integrations Team is to provide customers the ability to govern their data assets in Collibra by building integrations to ingest metadata and lineage from popular Data platforms and other data sources. This role will engage with Collibra’s global customer base to develop a product roadmap that maximizes customer adoption. You will collaborate with design, engineering, field teams and other product teams to drive execution on the product roadmap, while working with teams spanning across different regions including Europe and North America.

Senior Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for

• Contributing to  product strategy and roadmap for Integrations.
• Leading product planning and execution
• Understanding our customer pain points and contribute to their solutions
• Analysis of the APIs available from third party data platforms and data sources, and documenting the integration approach
• Analysis of third party JDBC driver features for use in integrations
• Collaborating with the product team including engineers, architects, and designers.
• Prioritizing the product backlog with the inputs from customers, field teams and market research.
• Tracking and managing progress, risks, and dependencies of product deliverables
• Finding the right balance between new features, product quality, and operational efficiency using a data-driven approach

You Have

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or related experience at enterprise SaaS software companies with focus on data and data management
• Comfortable owning and developing a product domain strategy and roadmap.
• Experience in either metadata or lineage integrations with common cloud data platforms, Databases or BI tools is preferred
• Able to balance short-term goals and long-term vision.
• Experience capturing and analyzing requirements (internal and external) and translating them into a viable product.
• Good presentation skills to a wide range of audiences.
• Experience supporting a high-growth field team
• Enjoy creatively solving customer escalations
• Worked in a multicultural and diverse environment

• Able to balance the needs of the field facing teams while supporting and leading the product development activities

Reporting to Collibra’s Product VP, the Sr. Product Managers’s measures of success are

• Within your first month, you will have a good understanding of the team vision and roadmap
• Within your third month, you will be driving the execution of the roadmap with minimal supervision including managing the product backlog for your scrum team
• Within your sixth month, you will be the product expert in customer and internal interactions for the integrations in your scope
