 LOCATION: Remote with Up to 75% travel within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. Travel will be reviewed by the VP of Sales.


REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales


JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Manager role manages our integrator channel sales and partnerships with both existing and new BCD integrators, consultants, end users, and in some cases distributors, within an assigned territory. You will also work closely with Inside Channel Managers and Sales Development Reps. This is a remote position with a territory including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the assigned sales territory for company products.
  • Discover and track new business opportunities.
  • Work directly with Inside Channel Managers and Sales Development teams for quotes and follow-up.
  • Visit integrators, end users, consultants, and distributors in the field.
  • Demonstrate BCD technology advantages and explain our market strategy.
  • Manage forecasts and achieve sales quotas.
  • Identify customer needs, respond to RFIs/RFQs, prepare quotes, and write proposals.
  • Engage the Advanced Systems Group (Pre-Sales Engineering) when projects are ready for bid/procurement.
  • Coordinate “hand-off” with Project Managers or the Advanced Systems team.
  • Monitor and report satisfaction levels from customers and consultants.
  • Coordinate customer and consultant training.
  • Update and maintain data in CRM (e.g., NetSuite) and other applications.
  • Acquire, maintain, and report knowledge of products, market trends, and competition.
  • Maintain and manage NetSuite opportunities with Sales Development Rep(s) and Inside Channel Managers.
  • Provide monthly project pipeline reports to the VP of Sales.
  • Add at least $2,000,000 in new opportunities quarterly, preferably identified by end-user and channel.
  • Manage assigned accounts and earn monthly bonuses by achieving new project goals and revenue growth.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • Up to 75% travel within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. Travel will be reviewed by the VP of Sales.

Requirements

 REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • 5+ years of experience in the security industry, specifically with VMS, Access Control, CCTV, or equivalent sales background.
  • Strong network and experience working with consultants, architects, and engineers.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience delivering client-facing presentations.
  • Proven record of sales achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work in a complex sales environment.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to establish credibility and maintain relationships with customers, integrators, and consultants.
  • Able to work independently while being part of a team.
  • IP technology understanding and networking expertise (considered an asset).
Salary Description
$120,000- $160,000
