Role Name: Property Management Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM New York time

Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Bookkeeper to join our client’s professional team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the financial aspects of multiple luxury condominium properties, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern property management software systems while handling diverse accounting responsibilities. Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bookkeeping operations for multiple condominium properties using industry-leading software
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and budget reports for property managers and board members
  • Handle bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Monitor and track property maintenance expenses and capital improvements
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and financial planning
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
  • Maintain organized digital records of all financial transactions
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate financial tracking


Requirements

  • Proven experience with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium)
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and budget management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Advanced organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
