This is a remote US position with expected travel 60-75% per year.
A day in the life
As a Market Development Manager at CVRx, you are an expert in promoting and growing therapy awareness of a Class III implantable medical device. You will play a crucial role in increasing therapy awareness and adoption of our innovative medical device therapy. You will engage with key healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide therapy awareness and educate them about the benefits of our heart failure therapy and its potential impact on patient outcomes. As a Market Development Manager you will evaluate the overall target market, identify top tier account targets (contacts), develop leads, contact and meet with prospects, help grow territories, and you will know how to determine the continuing needs of our target customer(s). This position requires effective knowledge in the development and maintenance of an effective sales pipeline and customer base within a defined segment or subset of strategic accounts.
Successful performance will be measured by patient referral and implant rates, achievement of sales goals, and other key objective metrics. Success will be realized through developing and maintaining a comprehensive business plan to target new physician customers, and expanding established territories through managing and cultivating patient opportunities from current physician customers. The MDM must be seen as a credible, persuasive, ethical, and trusted advisor who always puts the best interests of patients first.
While this role will report into the CRO, the Market Development Manager will work closely with, be advised and directed by the appropriate Territory Manager (s) and/or Area Sales Director of the assigned market(s).

Salary range for U.S locations (USD): 150,000 per year
The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.
In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a variable Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your specific objectives.
