Job description

Description
Position at Berkeley Research Group, LLC

BRG Healthcare empowers health systems to unlock the financial value of quality. Our data-driven approach leverages industry best practices to identify and quantify the costs associated with adverse outcomes like readmissions, increased length of stay, and lost revenue. Working collaboratively, we help clients develop and implement a tailored roadmap that optimizes workflows, improves financial performance, and enhances reputation so they can better quantify "the ROI of Quality".
This Senior Associate position is a junior staff consulting position within our Healthcare Advisory (HCA) practice with a focus on project management. The HCA team is currently building their practice and needs a strategic player with an entrepreneurial mindset that can thrive in ambiguity.  This position requires highly motivated individuals with strong project management and organizational skills, a passion for delivering results, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. As part of our healthcare advisory team, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing key project workstreams, coordinating resources, ensuring timelines are met, and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all client engagements, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Oversee the execution of both qualitative and quantitative project workstreams, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Manage client relationships, tracking progress, providing regular updates, and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within scope, balancing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Identifies next steps and/or work arounds on assigned tasks to begin working more independently.
  • Adapts to different client personalities and internal management styles to ensure expectations are met on both ends.
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing and adjusts context based on role of individual being addressed.
  • Participates in a positive team environment and works hard to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, such as an MBA or MHA, is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other relevant project management certification, is strongly preferred.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in a project management focused position or consulting role.
  • Prior experience working in a hospital, healthcare system, with an understanding of healthcare industry operations, regulations, and technology is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in the healthcare industry and clinical quality improvement consulting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, balancing project goals with organizational priorities.
Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $135,000 per year.
