Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Implementation Services, the Implementation Project Manager will join as a key member of our operations team and help build and shape the team for future success. Through a blend of data analysis, strategic thinking, operational process, and project management (and execution), this role serves as the liaison to help our Electronic Prior Authorization Team and customers achieve their business goals with excellence.
Programs and projects within this organization cross multiple business areas and have high complexity, senior executive visibility, and high risk if not delivered on time and with expected quality levels. This role will be responsible for communicating clearly and accurately across DrFirst departments and, occasionally, with clients and agencies. The Implementation Project Manager will be expected to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects at a time, keep all stakeholders informed, recognize/communicate any concerns, present results, and ensure each project is completed with quality and on time.
The Implementation Project Manager is expected to help develop and/or improve on efficient and scalable processes to enable team members to do their best work and accomplish business objectives. This position analyzes, and presents creative options to solve business challenges, thrives wearing multiple hats, and has an eye for detail.

What you will work on:
- Planning: Building a comprehensive work plan for each project and executing projects to successful completion. Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful delivery of the program as defined in the charter/scope.
- Collaborating across Teams: Facilitating commitment and productivity, delegating, and removing obstacles.
- Setting Clear Deadlines: Aligning projects to business goals, and communicating statuses, milestones, and unexpected difficulties.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent field of study
- 3 to 5 years of previous project leadership and/or relevant consulting experience within a matrixed management organization working with cross-functional teams and processes
- Proven track record of project management experience solving complex business problems from diagnosis through execution
- Comfortable visualizing data, and developing programs around it
- Ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, prioritize, organize, and manage time efficiently, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management frameworks, knowledge groups & life cycles
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in healthcare or health IT
- Experience establishing and improving organizational change management practices
- Experience working with technical tools (Tableau, Jira)
- Experience working with technical languages (HTML, XML, SQL)
Physical Requirements:
- 95% working at desk/ phone
- 5% travel to DrFirst locations (1-2 times/year)

- Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
