The main objective of the Healthcare Operational Excellence Manager is to help us meet Interwell Health’s strategic and performance goals through continuous improvement and innovation within healthcare operations. You will build close partnerships with Healthcare Operations teams to understand their needs, develop solutions to their challenges, roll out change, and analyze results before iterating. You will review operational processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities, collaborate cross-functionally on problem solving and planning, and lead delivery of change to the Healthcare Operations team. Ultimately, you will help us improve health outcomes for our patients and reduce the total cost of care.

The Work You Will Do:

Conduct discovery on operational improvement opportunities, scope solutions and seek feedback from SMEs, and develop rollout plans
Conduct rollout of operational change from your projects, and monitor/respond to the results. This may require you executing work, and influencing stakeholders / collaborators to execute on your plans
Be part of cross-functional scrum teams and/or working groups, being our ‘process engineer’ and an operational change management champion
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback on your work and analyzing your impact
Become a trusted collaborator of the Healthcare Operations teams impacted by your projects, gaining context on their goals, challenges, motivators, and readiness for change
Represent the needs of Healthcare Operations in cross-functional settings, such as prioritization or problem definition discussions
Support the Healthcare Operations leadership team by leading projects or workstreams as needed
Partner with our Data teams to design metrics and analyses, utilize analytical insights to inform decisions and plans

The Skills and Qualifications You Need:

Bachelor’s degree
Ability to inspire and influences cross-functional teams and departments to collaborate seamlessly on shared organizational goals.
Experience developing and managing operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.
Demonstrated track record of
- Project management and delivery experience
- Healthcare experience or education 
- Using analytical tools, such as Amplitude, PowerBI, Tableau to inform decision-making
- Developing communications for multiple levels of audiences
Value-based care or care management industry experience or education
Change management / continuous improvement methodology experience or education
Startup, Operations, Product or management consulting experience
