Compensation package: €90,000–€100,000 in yearly salary, €40,000–€80,000 in equity. Additionally, up to €5,000 p.a. in company benefits
Work model: Hybrid in Munich or remote in Germany; however, occasional travel to Munich is required.
As our Global Expert Accounting (f/m/d), you are responsible for shaping Orbem’s accounting processes and ensuring compliance with best practices. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to define, establish, and execute our accounting processes, supporting our team of over 130 people.
Your dedication to daily accounting tasks, combined with a focus on optimizing and automating processes, supports our growth, which has been fueled by over EUR 30 million in Series A funding.
Our goal is to implement the most efficient global accounting systems, utilizing platforms like Spendesk and Netsuite.
As the primary contact for Accounting and Tax for all our legal entities, you will shape financial processes in compliance with national and international standards.
Your responsibilities include:
Define, implement, and execute best practice accounting processes for our legal entities within a new ERP system for a growing team.
Lead process improvement projects across Accounting and Tax.
Ensure the stable execution of daily accounting operations and manage month and year-end closes in collaboration with our tax consultant.
Adhere to local accounting standards and complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Ensure the accuracy of our tax reporting (primarily VAT) together with our tax consultant.
Define, implement, and execute accurate processes for our group accounts. Ensure the financial accuracy of our group accounts.
Provide accounting guidance to other operating companies the director of Finance, and develop accounting talent.
Coordinate periodic financial reviews and audits with external firms.
Support Orbem’s growth by driving the evaluation of our international expansion from a Tax & Accounting perspective.
