Our client, a fintech company that has a sophisticated infrastructure that enables effortless cross-border transactions that directly links financial institutions, digital payment platforms, and service providers across various markets, it facilitates instant and secure fund transfers.

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal focused on doing regulatory compliance and legal documentation for corporate clients globally. This 1 year fixed term contract role offers you a unique chance to work in a fast paced environment, liaising with stakeholders overseas.

Your primary role will be assisting the Compliance team, in managing administrative legal tasks and liaising with regulators globally in various dissolution cases. This fixed term role will hone your project and time management skills, alongside excellent stakeholder management dealing with various global entities and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end process of corporate entity dissolution, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with external advisors, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate seamless closures.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare legal documents, and ensure timely submissions.
• Monitor project timelines, track progress, and resolve issues to meet deadlines.
• Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Identify and mitigate risks, escalate compliance concerns, and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law, business administration or commerce
• At least 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance or legal administration in an international or global scale
• Excellent time management - efficiently managing concurrent tasks
• Excellent stakeholder management, ability to work under pressure, and self-motivation.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
