Litigation Staff Attorney or Legal Operations Professional (Full-Time)

Latitude is seeking an experienced litigation staff attorney or legal operations professional to assist one of its AmLaw 200 law firm clients with implementing and administering the firm’s docketing and calendar management system. Experience with Milana and, ideally Compulaw, is required. The successful candidate will work along firm leadership to run these programs alongside the firm’s nationwide, 200+ attorney litigation team. The position is fully remote with a contract-to-permanent potential if the candidate lives in or is willing to relocate to Birmingham or Atlanta.

Required Qualifications for the Litigation Staff Attorney:

• Not less than two years’ experience as an associate, staff attorney, or legal operations professional in the litigation practice group of a large law firm
• Experience managing eDocketing/eBilling system projects is a plus
• Experience with Milana and, ideally Compulaw (Aderant products), is required
• Graduate of accredited law school
• Prior experience at an AmLaw 200 Firm is preferred

Compensation:

Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000+ when calculated on a full-time basis.

Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position.

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
