Senior / Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead), Poland

We’re looking for an experienced Senior / Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead) to join and guide our engineering teams while building innovative products and driving technical excellence. This role is mostly hands-on coding with some team leadership and project ownership in a fast-paced startup environment. What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust data intelligence services for crunching through vast lakes of Cosmose data
Design and implement internal tools or prepare one-off reports for our data-driven decision and monitoring needs
Lead and mentor the team, fostering growth and collaboration.
Maintain high code quality standards through proper design, well-structured automated testing, and thorough code reviews
Assist with the assessments of experiments and formulate recommendations as to the best course of action in product development based on data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
Drive innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends.

What You’ll Need

5+ years of experience in software engineering; experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
Significant experience in software development with a focus on building and deploying scalable solutions. We work in Python, we like Clickhouse.
Strong understanding of statistics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
Interest or experience in infrastructure development is a plus.
A mindset for innovation and the drive to build high-impact products in a startup environment.
