In the Sr. Manager – Procurement Strategic Sourcing position you will be accountable for the achievement of sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, creating corporate partnerships, cost reduction targets, and improving services and quality levels.
What You Will Do
Develop, lead, and execute on indirect procurement strategies across categories and leverage MoneyGram's position in terms of quality, response time, risk, and total cost
Influence, engage, collaborate, and partner with stakeholders and coordinate the opportunity of indirect procurement savings and increased payment terms
Ensure that targeted financial savings are achieved within a framework of financial control and that new business savings are achieved incrementally year-over-year
Partner with functional and budget owners to execute the sourcing process including supplier identification, competitive bidding, negotiations, selection, contracting, and performance management
Help to realign procurement strategies, including procure-to-pay, vendor creation, and due diligence processes and procedures
Mitigate risk, leverage technology and purchase power, and improve processes and systems
Conduct RFx development, negotiations, and contracting to reduce spend while ensuring high levels of service. Lead complex processes for Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal
Identify, contract, and qualify new suppliers who can reduce total costs and drive improved service levels
Be a strategic partner to business teams throughout the sourcing process, partnering with legal, finance, tech and other internal departments when necessary
Liaise with our Legal team to draft and redline commercial components of MSAs and service contracts, statements of work, and software as a service and licensing agreements
Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize value and to build a best-in-class supply chain across multiple spend categories
Who You Are
8+ years' experience negotiating and executing contracts with service providers across general indirect commodities, IT, Marketing, Operations, etc.
Knowledge of low-cost strategic sourcing, technology/development engagements and contract negotiations
Ability, willingness to travel 10% depending on business needs and engage with suppliers
Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex agreements where long-term partnering is crucial to growth
Demonstrated history in understanding commercial terms and negotiation strategy, balancing business profitability and stakeholder needs
Ability to understand technical language and develop scopes of work collectively with your stakeholders
Comprehensive written and verbal presentation skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to make business case comparisons for internal and external presentation
Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex product development environment with multiple priorities as well as a disciplined production setting
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and work a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
Experience with Oracle Fusion or ERP/MRP demand management systems a plus
LOCATION
This position is based in United States. While this is remote flexible, it is required to reside in this country.
